ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon agave, maple syrup, honey or liquid sweetener
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup plain yogurt of choice (I used soy yogurt)
  • ⅓ - ⅔ cup chopped fresh strawberries

instructions

  • Combine rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, sweetener of choice, and vanilla extract.
  • Scoop the mixture into a bowl, mason jar or a resealable container.
  • In a small bowl, combine yogurt and fresh strawberries. Layer this mixture over the oats.
  • Sprinkle with an extra tablespoon of dry rolled oats.
  • Seal up the container and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  • The next morning, stir everything together, or enjoy eating it in layers. Alternatively, you can just mix all the ingredients together, and just add everything into the jar or container all at once.
