About Ana

Hey! My name is Ana and I’m the recipe developer, photographer and writer behind Spoonful of Kindness, a space for healthy comfort food that actually tastes like a treat.

I create easy, cosy recipes made with simple, nourishing ingredients—mostly plant-based, always feel-good and designed to fit into real life. These are the kinds of recipes I cook for myself at home. Simple, comforting, and something I genuinely look forward to eating.

How It Started

I started Spoonful of Kindness back in 2016, originally as a place to share my experiments with vegan baking. Mostly “healthier” versions of the desserts I already loved.

Over time, both my cooking and my approach to food evolved.

What began as a vegan baking blog has grown into a collection of cosy, wholesome recipes; the kind you make when you want something comforting, but still want to feel good afterwards.

What You’ll Find Here

Think:

  • breakfasts that feel like dessert
  • simple, nourishing meals
  • sweet treats that are secretly good for you

Most recipes are plant-based (and always vegetarian), but more importantly, they’re:

  • uncomplicated
  • flexible
  • and actually enjoyable to eat

No extremes, no strict rules. Just food that’s kind to your body and satisfying.

My Approach to Food

I’ve been vegetarian my whole life, and while many of my recipes are naturally vegan, this space isn’t about labels.

It’s about balance.

You don’t have to follow a specific diet to enjoy these recipes. My goal is simply to help you add more wholesome, feel-good meals into your routine without ever feeling restricted.

A Little More Than Recipes

Beyond the food, Spoonful of Kindness has always been rooted in the idea of… well, kindness.

That can mean:

  • being kinder to your body
  • making more mindful food choices
  • or just slowing down and enjoying the process of cooking (and eating)
