Healthy vegan and gluten-free treat with 45 calories per serving you can make in under 20 minutes.
If you’re looking to find some last-minute suggestions for quick and easy New Year’s Eve treats, you will love these No Bake Chocolate Almond Balls. I was able to whip them up on a very busy afternoon right in the middle of the holiday season and they were an instant hit.
And if you think you can’t eat smart when the bulk of your holiday menu consists of carbolicious sides and desserts, these balls will prove you wrong. One Chocolate Almond Ball has no more than 45 calories, two grams of fat and six grams of carbs, so you can have
as many as you want more than one.
Do you have some raw dates, cocoa powder, almonds and vanilla at hand? With those four ingredients and a food processor or high quality blender, you can have a batch of these healthy vegan balls ready in under 20 minutes.
Serve them as they are or, if you have a few minutes to spare, give them a slightly more festive makeover by rolling them in your favourite topping. Desiccated coconut, chopped nuts or even cocoa powder can turn them from a treat to an after-dinner dessert.
